Halloween

Halloween was a pretty modest affair at our house this year. The kids were just getting over their colds and there was no way I was going to let them stay up late, eat a bunch of candy, and be out in the cold all night long - sorry they have a mean Mom. So, we went Trick-or-treating at a few friends house in the afternoon and called it good.

Madde announced a few days before Halloween that she wanted to be a cat. Really, we have tons of princess and fairy dress up clothes, can we use them - NO!!! So, I employed all my creative ability (not much) and came up with this. Of course if Madde was a cat, Hunter had to be a dog. He had some cute ears and a little tail to got long with his outfit, but he refused to wear them. Side note - Madde's turned sideways cause she was stoked about her tail and wanted to make sure it was in the picture - too funny kid.

A good family friend gave us this Bumbo for Dayton - Thanks Emily. It's Hunter and Madde's favorite seat. After a few fights, we decided to take it away until Dayton's old enough to use it.PS - So Dayton's going on a 3 hour nap. WOW!!!
