We just got back from a 2 week vacation where we got to visit both sides of our family. It was awesome. The bummer is that the kids and me got sick the last couple of days, meaning we've had some not so happy kids the last few days. So, when Madde started hamming it up for me today, I was so delighted to see her happy and it was cracking me up. Here's a sampling of our day:
"This is my twice cup of water. Twice is another word for two."
Talking about the picture she drew of our family: "That's Dayton when he's 8 months old. I drew him a little big, so that's him when he's 8 months old."
"Mom, tonight I'm going to brush my teeth with a car."
Madde is definitely on the upswing. For the rest of our family, Dayton and Brad were thankfully spared (knock on wood), I'm just about recovered, Hunter seems the worst, but is getting better. He's probably got a day or two more.
I don't think I took one picture while on vacation. I was too busy having fun. So, when I get someone more camera diligent to send me pictures, I write a full vacation review.

Sorry to hear you have been sick,
that is no fun.
It was so much fun to have you all here for the wedding week. I have a few photos and lots of great memories of fun days, and one fun night of Madde dancing until the music stopped.
We are still sick too :(
