Visitors

We have been so lucky to have visitors this month. Ede (Brad's mom) had a workshop in Santa Fe, so she stopped by for a visit before and after. We loved it. She arrived Thursday afternoon which allowed her to walk Madde to the bus stop on Friday and then turn into Hunter's personal playmate for the rest of the day. We loved having her here.

Ede brought new Halloween pajamas, the eye's glow in the dark - very cool

On her second weekend here, we thought it might be fun to take Grandma up the Tram, have lunch and do a little hiking. It was so fun and beautiful and fairly pleasant at the top of the mountain.

My two little hikers. That's all they wanted to do.

Just before Grandma left, we took her to a wildlife perserve. We've never been there before, but it was fun to see some wildlife animals up close.

This picture just cracks me up. We frequently call Madde and Hunter our little ducks because they will just walk right behind us. This is Dad leading the way with Madde and Hunter following. I think the fact that they are all in sunglasses and hats, just adds to the "following" effect.
My Uncle John and his girlfriend Ann also stopped by to visit us. They are permanent RVers. It had been a really long time since I saw John and I'd never gotten to meet Ann, so I was so glad they would stop and visit. They came over Wednesday to visit and while Ann was visiting with me and Dayton in the kitchen, everyone else feel asleep on the couch. (We know who the life's of the party are...)

Dayton hamming it up for Ann. He was so smily
GROUP NAP!!!

We had so much fun on the tram, we decided to take John and Ann up for dinner. We had fun talking while the kids ran around. We even got to see 2 parasailers take off. It started getting somewhat cool on the top of the mountain as the sun went down. Everyone in jackets - I'm so excited for fall.
