Seriously Long Update

It's been forever since our last update. Here's a quick update on us: Dayton has really started to calm down. He still sleeps off and on a good portion of the day and is starting to have a fairly regular long stretch of sleep at night. He's been slow to smile and giggle, but I have faith that we will reach those milestones soon. I feel like I don't get to interact with him as much as my other kids, but he seems fairly content to lie on the couch and let the chaos revolve around him. Madde started preschool and picked up speech therapy again. She loves both and feels so grown up to do activities without Mom. Hunter is such a content kid that he frequently gets over looked in the bustle of everyday life, but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. Because he requires less of my attention, he's constantly surprising me with the new things he's learned.

Madde is starting to be a little Mom, she really tries to help out with Dayton as much as she can.

I was making Dayton do tummy time, after letting me know he didn't like it, he decided to give up and just lie there. I'm not sure, but I don't think thats helping his neck muscles get stronger.
I woke up one day to my sweet family cuddled up on the couch. Too cute.
We were lucky to have a visit from my sister, Christie, and her son, Gage. I'm not sure how to nicely phrase this, but Hunter did not get along with Gage. We heard, "No, baby Gage, don't do that", alot that week. Cute Gage didn't even have a clue he was being reprimanded. Me and Crist had fun watching girly movies, reminiscing about old times, and even tried a new gym while she was here.We loved having them and even Hunter asked several times where Gage was when they left.

Hunter's archnemesis: Baby Gage (it's one word if you are Hunter, babygage)

A few months ago we moved Madde and Hunter into the same room. I thought Madde would really struggle to share her room, not at all. In fact they get along so well, I frequently have to go upstairs and make them settle down. Madde's taught Hunter all the not-so-good bedtime habits she's devloped and Hunter gladly picked them up, ie jumping off beds, sneaking out to the play room, and reading books. I'm so glad they are such good friends.

Madde had her first experiment with cutting her own hair. I'm not sure if you can see, but on each side of her face, she pulled her hair forward and cut it off.
This is what a trip to the barber got us. They did a good job trying to even it out.
On my birthday Brad got Coldstone cupcakes, Hunter really enjoyed them. Before he was done, he had frosting/ice cream on his forehead. "If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face." He'd make Carl's Jr. proud.
Madde discovered she could flip her hair. She was stoked that our camera could catch her hair mid flight.
