YARD

Here it is in all its glory.  DONE!!!  Okay, not quite.  There's a large rock still waiting to be moved into the front.  The strip on the other side of the driveway has a few tree roots that need to be taken out, new ground tarp laid, and then the rock moved back into place.  But hey, you can't see that in this picture, so this is essentially what our yard looks like:

I'm so excited to have a decent looking front yard again.  It has seemed that our house has been a construction zone for the past 4 weeks and I've felt very bad for my neighbors, but now they can look at something pretty.

Our back yard is about done too.  We over ordered rock (which was supposed to be just for the front), that our back just needs a little bit more to be done.  We need to lay mulch, finish a few small retaining walls and finish painting and then we can rest til spring.  Strike that, then we can spend a weekend cleaning all the tools, scraps, dirt, trash, etc that we've used and left out and then we will be done.  The backyard won't look really beautiful til we can get in the grass, but I'll still love it.

I feel like this has taken over my life, that I'm excited to get back to normal.  Almost there.  YEA!!!
