After an unseasonably warm fall, we finally got some snow. YEA! School was on a 2 hour delay, so we had some time to play in it. We made a small snowman, but Madde decided she was way more interested in making a snow castle ("not a sand castle" - she was very concerned about the distinction).
Hunter wouldn't wear gloves, so that left him kicking the snow. Later we did convince him to put on gloves so we could throw snowballs.
Madde's been planning all year long on making a snow angel, but almost chickened out when she saw how deep it was. She finally took the plunge, if I stayed next to her to help her if she got stuck. She weighs so little, she barely made a dent in the snow.
We didn't want to leave anyone out of the fun, so I took Dayton outside for a few minutes. He was relatively unimpressed. Maybe next year when he can play in the snow.
