Madde and Hunter discovered you could spin around in our computer chair. They would hook their legs through the arm rest like a seat buckle. There favorite is when Mom or Dad would push them cause then they could both ride it, but if neither one of us was available, they would take turns pushing each other.
We hosted a gingerbread house decorating party. It was great fun. Mom didn't police the candy and I'm pretty sure that more candy was consumed than actually put on the house.
Madde's house: Each side was themed
Hunter's house: He didn't care that it feel apart, as long as he still got to eat the candy off of it.
We got a package from Grandma with paper shreds used to protect the presents. Madde got some out to "make baby Jesus's bed soft". I thought it was so cute, I didn't take them away. This is what I found later on in the day. The kids were throwing the paper in the air to make it snow. Luckily my vacuum is the best and everything came right up.
My sister gave us this cute Christmas dress and Madde saved it all season long so that she could wear it for the Christmas program. (I know I tried to explain that we could wash it, but don't try to reason with a 4 year-old)
Madde was so excited it snowed. She was out playing in it first thing in the morning. She wanted to build a snowman, but we didn't have that much snow.
Christmas Eve with our stockings.
Madde left a few treats for Santa. She was very concerned about the "reindeer and rudoulf", so we left a few carrots. She also drew a picture for Santa, it was of a train.
Christmas morning with their stockings.
This is my favorite memory of Christmas. Madde and Hunter are reading Dayton their books.
My boys have never had matching shirts and I just thought it was too cute.
I'm not sure what they added to our water, but all of the sudden neither Madde's or Hunter's shoes fit. After several weeks of getting-by, we finally made it to the store. They both love their "gym shoes". Hunter usually insists on keeping them in his room and puts them on first thing in the morning.
Dayton turned super smiley near the end of December. I finally got out my camera to capture it. Usually being naked will elicit the biggest smiles, but he also enjoys bouncing up and down or getting a blanket put on him (I don't get it either).
My kids are still crazy. I found them playing in the box one day. At one point in time their were throwing toys in the air. When I asked them what they were doing, they told me they were juggling in the box. Makes perfect sense.
