Madde had 2 outfits this year. We went to the zoo for a Halloween party. Madde went as a Sheriff, Brad's parner. She was pretty excited to be dressed "like Daddy". A special thanks to Grandpa Dave for this one. She was pretty excited that they were giving away free candy, even though she only ate 1 peice. It's the thought that counts
Carving pumpkins is always fun. Madde will not touch the slimy insides and insists on using a spoon. She usually looses interest after a while and poor Brad is left to clean out the pumpkin. There is a cute internet program that lets you build your own pumpkin. So she sat down and made a pumpkin on-line and Brad carved it to look like it. We are lame parents and forgot to get a shot of the final pumkin.
Madde went Trick-or-treating this year as a fish. We did our best to sing a few rounds of the "fish head" song for Jen. After the Zoo, Madde figured out the "free candy" gig and was pretty excited to walk around knocking on doors.
We didn't want to leave Hunter out. We are lame parents, he just had a Halloween shirt on. He got to go trick-or-treating with us and thouroughly enjoyed the stroller ride. It topped it off that someone gave him a piece of candy to gnaw on. You can't get much better than that.
